Statin drugs

My partner has been on Statin drugs for many years. He refuses to go the more natural way. He has recently come up wiith Irits and now a retnia infection. He has been on prednasone for week in drops. Dr Kaplan do you think Statins can cause eye problems ?

Thanks for this great question Patriica.  This article certainly shows the strong visual side effects to statin drugs.  A reported study by "Dr. Fraunfelder's group analyzed reports of double vision (diplopia), drooping of the upper eyelid (ptosis), and loss of full range of motion of the eyes (ophthalmoplegia) in people taking statins. Because statins are already known to cause skeletal muscle disorders in some patients, the scientists reasoned that a similar impact of the drugs on eye muscles was most likely the reason for the eye problems."

 

So be warned everybody. Remember drug company's are more in the business of selling drugs than how well you are!

statin drugs all drugs have side affects stain drugs reduce cholesterol    and help prevent strokes but there is a price for that protection way the benefit with the side FECTS THE MORE NATURAL WAY ACHIVED WITH DIET   UNLESS HISTORY OF STROKE OR TIA'S
